alright... i posted this in the script section but someone informed me that this problem isn't really script related, so i thought i'd give it a try here.

when running scripts that stream video (launch, yahoo vids, game trailers, etc) the audio comes in crystal clear but no video... just a black screen.

someone suggested this might be a codec problem, however when i play videos that i am running off my pc the xbox seems to play them fine.

i'm running xbmc 2005-04-10.

anyone else have suggestions?

no suggestions but i'm having the exact same problem.

i had the same problem and went back to cvs 4.01.05 ad it all worked fine again. they introduced a new codec dll that'l take over mplayer and somehow it gives me a black screen. i followed instructions to disable it but still had the black screen. so i went back to an older cvs and it all works well of course.

it's strange how so few people answer these forums...
