I had Ubuntu 9.04 and XBMC Babylon 9.04 on my HTPC I built 2009 and everything have worked fine until now. I suddenly couldn't read anything from my SMB shared Win7 machine.
Today I have an iMac SMB shared instead and still nothing will work.
I tried to reinstall my HTPC with XBMC Live and OpenElec and I can see the files over SMB but they won't play.
Installed Win7 on my HTPC and XBMC 10.1 and everything works fine again...
Back to XBMC Live again and still I can't play the files.
Nothing useful found in the log file.
From other XBMC clients in the house there haven't been any problems reading my SMB shares so the problem must be in this HTPC.
I don't want to use Win7 on my HTPC but I really don't know what to do to solve the SMB problem?
