same as in xbmp. we need the output to all speakers option, so i can turn it off. now every signal is ac3 5.1, which sounds wierd.

if fact, ac3 5.1 is converted to 2 channels and then outputted as 5.1 again, having the same effect als regular 2 channel.

i can't use xbmc if this isn't fixed.
it sounds horrible!!!

i also don't understand why this really old bug is back. why not use the xbmp code?

i'd also like to add the ability to have different "output to all channels" option for videos and music. many of my videos are in dpl or dd so i'd like my receiver to get the audio as stereo or as dd so it can do its magic, but most of the music i have is stereo and usually sounds nicer/fills the room better for background music when its set to output to all channels. so if we could have
"output to all channels for music"
and
"output to all channels for videos"

that would be awesome!
