Ok so I decided to take on the project of going with XBMC as my media center in my living room. I have purchased an Acer Revo R3700 and loaded XBMClive freak on it.
I have a Lacie network drive and was able to link my movies over the network to grab the movies in the folder
How do I add a Lacie USB connected external HD and it's contents to my Movies LIbrary? It doesn't seem to be recognized by my XBMC but it is recognized when I connect the HD to my laptop. Is there a certain file structure or file format the XBMC needs in order to recognize the USB HD? I have connected other external HD's and they seem to be recognized. Why is the Acer not recognizing the Lacie USB HD's?
