Hello! Im pretty new to XBMC and im liking it so far. But the remote function wont work at all for me.
I have tried entering same IP adress for both the HTPC and the remote. And i have the same username and password on both HTPC and the remote. I have enabled the HTTP server. I have tried different ports ( same for HTPC and remote ) and that dosent help either. Im running Ubuntu 10.10 + XBMC.
And it still wont work. I get this message:
"SOCKET TIMEOUT"
"Make sure XBMC webserver is enabled and XBMC is running"
Does somebody now how its supposed to be done? Please help me if that is the case.
