Hi,

I am using Rivet (OSX UPNP Client) to stream videos to my ATV2 XBMC. I can add the source, browse the file structure, but it crashes to FrontRow every time I try to play a video, regardless of container or codec.

Here are my build info and logs:

Build downloaded from http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/darwin/atv2/
XBMC PRE-11.0 GIT:20111124-da3fabb (Compiled: Nov 25 2011)

xbmc.log - http://pastebin.com/9EL8NY9G
syslog - http://pastebin.com/PQBHGN8y
Latest Crash - http://pastebin.com/gK4WA3fE

Would appreciate any help.

23:57:08 T:111505408 WARNING: FileCurl - disabling multi session due to broken libupnp server

I would be guessing a broken upnp server?
Have you tried playing the content from another upnp client?

Personally I think you are crazy using upnp on xbmc as the library does not work.

Why not use AFP, Webdav or FTP?
Have you tried using Rivet with another XBMC box, like Mac OS X or Windows? Like g-off said, it could be the UPnP server itself.

UPnP is great for just quick playing videos, but if you want to use any library features (cover art, summaries, tracking watched status), then I would second the suggestion of using an alternative sharing method.
I went with my existing setup to avoid any complications, that worked well for me... Eek

Thanks for your help, I'll switch to AFP.

PS: Also found out that Rivet is no longer supported.
Just for the completeness - here is the symbolicated crashlog for the devs:
