Keep getting share not availble error when i try to add a folder from an external hard drive in ubuntu..

the folder on the actual ubuntu computer work fine.. but external folders arent working any ideas?

I is probably a permissions problem. The samba user may not have permission to access the files/directories. Try accessing from a something other than the atv2 and see if you can get it working.

Check the samba logs in /var/log/samba/smbd.log
