Hi,

I've installed installed broadcom crystal hd drivers through debian binary files (I used to use wilsonet git repository
but it does not install in new 3.x kernel in ubuntu 11.10 and linux mint 12 x86) and xbmc through subversion (with --enable-crystalhd command) :

The files I dpkg -i *.deb'ed to install crystalhd:
Quote:crystalhd-dkms_0.0~git20110715.fdd2f19-4_i386.deb
libcrystalhd3_0.0~git20110715.fdd2f19-4_i386.deb
libcrystalhd-dev_0.0~git20110715.fdd2f19-4_i386.deb

I can see driver is up and running:
Quote:arda@arda-netty ~ $ lsmod | grep cry
crystalhd 80486 0

But when I run xbmc it fails to identify.

This is my log withg debugging activated:

What's going wrong ? why does it not identify the driver ?

Any suggestions ?
Thanks
*bump and some heads on*

OK I rolled back to ubuntu 10.04 netbook edition, and compiling crystal hd driver from wilsonet source works (as was in ubuntu 11.04), plus xbmc identifies the card and driver.

Most probably it's linux kernel 3.x related, and I suspect XBMC can't identify the driver even if it's installed on linux kernel 3.x system.

DEVs, please investigate this.

And once again, thank you for developing such an application!

check where the firmware goes.
