I'm running XBMC as a session with Ubuntu, so that it boots directly into it without loading Unity. How do I restart it correctly? I use 'service lightdm restart' and while that appears to do it, I often find multiple instances of xbmc running when I have to do this multiple times while tweaking my system settings. This can cause all sorts of havoc, settings not saved, or wiped out entirely, android remote not connecting, etc.
