Hey folks,
im reading here and learning about installing XBMC on Ubuntu more than two weeks. Everything worked more or less fine. Except that the video ist extremly bucking on my xbmc.
My system is:
AMD OPTERON K8 Athlon 64
ATI HD 5700
4GB DDR2
Ubuntu 11.10
3.0.0-14-generic-pae
installed XBMC from repository:
ppa:nathan-renniewaldock/xbmc-stable
I also added medibuntu rep.
also installed the fglrx drive of off. amd support site:
http://support.amd.com/de/gpudownload/li...inux%20x86
Now i tried to stream from my local hoster normal TV Stream. On my Windows 7 Laptop it works great. But on my HTPC you cant even watch for 5 minutes. I uploaded how it looks like with the newest updates und newest driver vom amd.
http://youtu.be/n06cOTtEcNY
On the Video you can see HD. But i is the same bucking on normal tv stream. And it also bucks in VLC, Mplayer, etc.
It would be so grateful if someone could give me a hint.
Thanks for your efforts.cheers
