Hello,
I do have plenty of pictures stored on NAS and I had to switch off thumbnails generation as it was dead slow even after they have been created. With folder that contained 500+ pictures I was waiting for more then 3 minutes to open it.
Playing slidseshow from top level folder was fine. After switching off thumbnails it was instant to show all the files.
That is why I do have question/proposition.
Is it possible/how to show/create small thumbnail of a picture which is currently selected rather then for all files in the folder? This would reduce loading time dramatically and allow to browse pictures nicely.
It is how the Sony blue-ray build-in picture browser works (but I do prefer XBMC even without thumbnails)
