right now i have an ATV2 and a htpc running Pre Eden on both. they both access a database on my pc. If i upgrade the ATV2 to Eden Beta, will there be any issues? will they both be able to read and write to the same database? i remember a while back that databases from different version are incompatible with each other.

There hasn't been a video DB bump in a while, so you should be okay. Though it would be best to just update all your devices to Beta 1.

But I thought there is no beta 1 for xbmc live
