Hi,

im trying to find answer for my problem. I installed XBMC with pvr support xbmc-11.0-Eden_beta1_pvr-margro and also tryed xbmc-10.1-PVR_v2 with mediaportal tv server 1.2.2

everything works (except EPG as know bug, as i read somewhere here in forum) but i cant play live tv therefore i can play it but the picture is unwachable, sound is crappy, noisy. in other words i cant recognize what is on the picture.

I tryed installation on two different computer but the result is the same. The second installation was on clear system windows 7 64bit

Here is my log. I remove old .log file and run xbmc interface and just run live tv.
here is link to my log

Have you tried LiveTV with Mediaportal Client ? Does it work ? It didn't for me .. so it's may be again only a Mediaportal problem .. with windows better try DVBViewer or WMC7 ...

So long

Is your client wireless?

I'm currently using the early december (12/4 or 12/5) Win7 build and it does work. I haven't tried any newer build (Eden beta) yet. I have a wireless-g client (OpenELEC) and sometimes HD channels get macroblocked pretty bad, but i'm pretty sure it's a bandwidth thing.
i dont want to use wmc7 any more. all features in wmc must be installed with third party application. i also have dvblink streamed to wmc.

all of this is not so quick as xbmc. xbmc is nice app, but it must have pvr fuction for me.

no, XBMC and mediaportal tv server are installed on the same computer
is there any solution?

did you test mediaportal *client* for watching TV .. if that doesn't work then there is no need for finding solutions for (mostly unstable) PVR XBMC support ...
