Hello,
good plugin, but I have a small problem.
I am a Libreelec user.
With the Rasp 3B+ and Rasp 4B I observe the following problem.
When changing transmitters without using stop, both rasps crash and reboot. Independent of the Image of Libreelec (also Milhouse).
Is there a solution to this problem?
Does anyone have the same problems with this plugin with Libreelec?
Thanks
Hi, I have v17.6 on my Pi3b and v18.4 on my Pi4b. Both are having the same problem that I have just noticed.
On the "Radio" plugin by Tristan (in the music section), instead of the thousands of stations I used to get, now only a choice of 100 stations starting on A. That's it no more A's or the rest of the Alphabet. Could be the scraper or Kodi script.
Anyone else having problems?
As far as I can see it is an add-on problem, not a problem with the Rpi.
I have no idea which add-on as you gave no details, so don't expect much of a response from anyone.
I think he means the rad.io addon by Sphere.
https://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Radio
The site it uses has been updated whilst I don't think the addon has. Mine shows the same behaviour but you can still use it to play other stations if you know the station id (eg 11524 is Planet Rock). I did look a while back at this but they don't appear to have any API documentation and I didn't want to do a re-write that scrapes the whole site so I left it alone. Might re-visit it in the future though.
Hi,
I'm experiencing two issues with the add-on:
1. for most radios, no artist name / song title is displayed (BTW in my wildest dreams I would also like to get the album art displayed by Kodi for songs listened to off an Internet radio station... can this be done?)
2. if the radio is played by any other means (e.g. Favorites) than Music / Rad.io / My Stations / <click on radio's icon> then Kodi displays a number or two numbers separated by a dash instead of the radio's name:
Are these known issues / limitations?
Thanks in advance for your help.

It is a music plugin to provide quick access to more than 7000 international radio broadcasts (powered by the websites http://www.rad.io (English), http://www.radio.de (German) and http://www.radio.fr (French)). I hope it is a good replacement/addition for the shoutcast and icecast addons. Please note that there are more then just "only internet radio stations" accessible via this addon.

- My Stations
You can browse the stations via 115 genres, 59 topics, 94 countries, 1010 cities or 63 languages (all translated to English, German and French).
You can also put any station to the list of "My Stations" (with context menu) for quick access.

I haven't used the Radio add-in for a while. When I tried this morning, there were a few problems:
1. Station listings are not complete. For example, Jazz genre only goes to "Bi".
2. Once I start playing a station, there is no indication of the artist/song in the display.
3. Several stations crash Kodi when attempting to play them.
I notice the last update was more than two years ago. Is this add-on dead?

Hello,
Same issue here! Wery good plugin but some problems with kodi leia!
No visualisation in full screen mod (with MQ8)
Search won't show all stations!
Any solutions with this plugin?
Hi!
I've tried TuneIN but there is same issue when playing full screen mode, no fanart showed, no CD art and no Front cover, only the artist label is working.
But oddly, the two plugins seems to download all the informations, because they are showed in minimode when we are on the main menu, fanart and artist information are here!!
I think there is a problem only with fullscreen mode! And definitively Radio plugin is better than TuneIN, more intuitive.
Hope someone will try to solve this.

Thanks a bunch for Updating this Addon!! (Would have been a loss! if that did go lost with 19!!)
Thanks!!
One minor thing:
There seems to be no (station-)Icon within the Fullscreen Window (MusicVisualisation.xml).
Did Try the usual "Player.Icon" plus "Player.Art(thumb)" and "$INFO[MusicPlayer.Cover]", non of them did show the Station-Icon.
Thanks again for Ur Update!
