It works great, but if you want to have a 'favourite' list, it looks like you have to create it manually.
For that, populate the file '//home/userdata/addon_data/plugin.audio.radio_de_light/sender.txt' with data (at installation it is empty).
Each line must have the format:
###NAME###.....###URL###....###LOGO###.....###
where you have to replace the dots with the name, the url and optionally the logo.

No, you don't have to edit it manually.
Search for the desired station then call up the context menu and click “Add to my stations”.

Hi,
I've used Radio.de for years with no issues (except sometimes some transient network problems...)... / Rapsberry pi / Kodi...
Alas, it seems to be dead for some weeks now...
I don't like very much to rely on some third party website to access streams that are publicly available thru a browser... Just another layer of potential problems...
So I reinstalled a newer Raspberry pi OS (BookWorm) and apt installed Kodi 20...
I tried radio.de but it did not work at all...
I tried to use the Shoutcast addon but it did not list the radio I want (public service radios ! ?? ). And it won't allow to add some custom radios...
So, I created a 'music playlist' thru Kodi interface...
That created the text file I could edit and add my radios in... (I'm a CLI guy...)
The file is located in :
/home/pi/.kodi/userdata/playlists/music for me
I named the playlist 'Radios' thru the Kodi interface so the file in this directory is named Radios.m3u.
Here's how I declared my radios in the file :
#EXTCPlayListM3U::M3U
#EXTINF:257,01. Archie Bronson Outfit - Cherry Lips
smb://MAMMOUTH/Music/Archie Bronson Outfit - Derdang Derdang [2006]/01 - Cherry Lips.mp3
#EXTINF:-1 group-title="new" radio="true",France Inter
http://direct.franceinter.fr/live/franceinter-midfi.mp3
#EXTINF:-1 radio="true",France Culture
http://direct.franceculture.fr/live/fran...-midfi.mp3
#EXTINF:-1 radio="true",France Info
http://direct.franceinfo.fr/live/franceinfo-midfi.mp3
#EXTINF:-1 radio="true",FIP
http://direct.fipradio.fr/live/fip-midfi.mp3
#EXTINF:-1 radio="true",Le Mouv
http://direct.mouv.fr/live/mouv-midfi.mp3
#EXTINF:-1 radio="true",Radio Nova
http://broadcast.infomaniak.ch/radionova-high.mp3
#EXTINF:-1 radio="true",Radio Meuh
http://radiomeuh2.ice.infomaniak.ch/radiomeuh2-128.mp3
The first one is not a radio. I created the playlist with a music file...
I lost info on the broadcasted music (no title/band info from those http urls, I guess) but at least it works... Without addon...
I hope this can help someone, as it would have helped me...
Have a nice day,
Zorgloups

You can do something similar with an strm (wiki) file for specific stations/streams, although you may still not get the additional info.

Does anyone know where radio.de has stored my own stations?
So i could copy them to file '//home/userdata/addon_data/plugin.audio.radio_de_light/sender.txt'.

Same here, and I tried any languages but unfortunately nothing works - in my case, using in Chromecast Google TV 4K (Android 12)

In your userdata (wiki) folder, go to the sub-folder \addon_data\plugin.audio.radio_de\.storage (note the . before the storage - it's a hidden folder on some OS's).
You should find my_stations.json in there, which contains the data you're after.

This works like a charm.
There is just one tiny issue, the menu is German only
It is not difficult, but it is a bit awkward to have severall languages in one system

Will the Radio addon be fixed?
Or, should I use the one in your download link and delete the Radio addon?
