As the title says, I can't hide any directories from any of my samba shares.

Working perfectly on windows, But on linux all hidden directories & files are visible all the time regardless of whether I turn show hidden files on or off in xbmc. I have double checked using nautilus & everythings ok.

ideas?

not possible - samba doesn't support it. windows itself does something special - which can't be done on other plattforms without breaking things...
