I've searched everywhere for a solution, but came up empty.

Problem is this.

Any music file I try to play, does nothing. It shows the song timer, stays on 0:xxx. Using dvdplayer however it plays just fine.

Either I need to fix the issue with paplayer or make dvdplayer the default for playing music.

I already tried setting dvdplayer as default by following this link. Replaced paplayer with dvdplayer. I was unsuccessful.

Please help.

Tried setting VLC as the audio player from this thread.

Couldn't get it to work. XBMC just ignores whatever I put in those files.

Latest version works correctly, at least now I know it's pointless to ask for help here. :/
