I'm not sure as I've not actually used the pulse8 builds before, what's the benefit?
However I do know that the OpenElec download pages got refactored recently (a couple of weeks ago, so ties in) and the "unofficial builds" have been removed and now there appear to be more "official daily builds".
Maybe the pulse eight stuff has been rolled back into the main openelec dev/site? Though I can't see anything to this effect on either site.
