Hi there
I'm using HTPC, running 24/7 in console mode (no graphical environment). I also use 'mingetty' to auto-login into session.
If I want to watch some movie, I just type 'startx' and xbmc runs (I use proper .xinitrc file). So, it works fine that way.
Now, I have remote control driven by 'lirc' daemon, and it works like a charm with one exception: cannot start xbmc through remote control.
Here is my question: what is the proper way to configure lirc daemon to run xbmc by pressing some remote control button?
I know 'irexec', but how exactly to use it for that purpose?
PS: Power button on my remote doesn't work, and I will have to use one of the programmable colour buttons. It's not a big deal.
