I know normally you would like it the other way around. But I would like to stop xbmclive from autostarting xmbc and ask for a "normal" PAM login password first. I looked around the upstart scripts, but I couldn't find where the standalone version of xmbc gets started and where the autologin happens.
The xbmc process on my sytems runs as under "myusername" and not the default "xmbc", so there has to be a place where I configured that a year ago. I just can't remember
Thats acutually a good sign for a software. Install it once, forget about everything and just run it without the need to worry about anything. The only downside is: If you ever want to change something,... your out of luck
