Full Version: [LINUX] XBMC crashes with no apparent reason

Hello there,

I've been using XBMC for some weeks now (I found it so awesome I decided to build a dedicated HTPC for it) but it started crashing all of a sudden. I have a computer with Debian testing installed, which autologins in slim and then launches xbmc. Now, everytime I start the computer, xbmc crashes at boot with no apparent reason (although there are several ERROR entries in the logfile, I can't see which one makes xbmc crash). However, if I restart slim (thus restarting xbmc) it works.

Here's the crashlog, I hope it contains all the information needed: http://pastebin.com/00d0tpqU

I'm using xbmc version 10.1+git20110912-0.1, if you need any other information, just tell me.

Thanks for your help!
Can you install gdb to allow XBMC to generate a stack trace in the crash log?
Anyone? I'm still getting this problem every time I launch xbmc...
I think you have this problem:

Mostly it isan Intel driver problem, but there is a workaround to this. I need more time to really debug. Thanks for reporting
