Hi,
I started using XBMC as front to my MythBuntu 10.10 backend.
Connecting to LiveTv is very slow, regardless via Lan or locally with XBMC run on Mythbackend box.
I created advancedsettings.xml and put in <loglevel>-1</loglevel>
and saved it in the correct directory on my win7 XBMC-front.
After this the MythBackend.log cleaned up.
Connecting to LiveTv on the Mythbackend is quicker.
Changing channels is quicker.
And overall responsiveness in MythBox application is better.
Why is that?
Are theremore ways to shave connection time?
