The problem started with Eden beta 3 and when i start watching a video i hear sound crackle and when i stop the video and try another there is no sound.

Restarting Coreaudio solves the audio issues until i go back into XBMC then the same thing happens.

Edit:Seem that this issue is caused by OSX 10.7.3 XBMC Beta 2 doesn't work either. Not sure if there is any tweak that can be done with XBMC to get it to work?

I've only got this issue with XBMC. tested a moment ago VLC and sound works just fine.

Did 10.7.3 break something within XBMC?

I have not experienced this and I have 10.7.3 and Eden beta 3.

fixed it by deleting the XBMC folder in application support. not sure what screwed it up but that fixed it.
Never had to delete that folder before when i updated nightlies and betas.

Anyway thats how you solve it

Perhaps it was a corrupt settings file?
