Hi there,

I've done a search on this forum but it hasn't yielded an answer I'm satisfied with so I'm hoping someone can send me in the right direction with what I'm after.

What Im trying to achieve is dividing my movies up into 2 folders. 1. Movies, 2. Kids Movies. I want to be able to click on the main menu between these 2 folders and select the movies.

My problem is when I add "Movies" as my main movies folder, and when I add any other additional folders, it doesn't show up in the main menu. Only 2 folders show up, and it's "Movies" and "TV Shows' but I can't seem to get any other folder to display on the main menu. I tried to add it to the sub menu of VIDEOS, and then I 'Unhid' the Movies folder in the Skin section of the System preferences.

I've added 2 images for you guys to see. Ideally, What i'd like to be able to do is Customize this 1st image where I want to add a few different folders like how Movies and TV shows were added to the right of Videos.

but if I'm unable to do that, I'd like to be able to add it to the submenu of the VIDEOS folder like this:

It seems to add Movies and TV shows by default, any additional folders can't be added to these main menus.

Please help!

Thanks in advance.
You will need a skin that supports custom menu options. Transparency! is one.

Alternatively, you can use profiles to make a log-in screen when you start XBMC, each with their own library and options: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Profiles
