just wondering if the repo's for atv would be the same for xbmc for windows.?

the only reason im asking is that when i add the 1.channel to xbmc atv its works fine, but in xbmc on my laptop it dont work.??

Yes. The same addon should work cross platform. There must be some other reason its not working on your laptop. Only way to know why is by posting a debug log.
