Hi all,
I bought a new system and downloaded xbmc-Eden_beta3-xbmcbuntu.iso.
I put it on an usb stick and installed on internal disk.

Everything works good using mouse and keyboard but my mce remote didn't work.

I have the second remote: Microsoft with Teletext

I plug it in usb port and press buttons, it lights up, I see the led on receiver but nothing happens on xbmc gui.

Am I missing something?

try checking the box that allows the remote to emulate keyboard presses

Which box you are talking about?

Last time I used it, under windows, it worked well.

I tested it under windows and it works good

the selection button in the skin you are using.

I have confluence skin vertical.

I think I have found what you mean:
System->System->Input Devices->Remote control sends keyboard presses

If I install a clean Ubuntu and then I install xbmc do you think it could solve the issue?
Or xbmcbuntu is the same?

I formatted the hard disk and installed windows 7 and now all is working correctly
