On my mac with RC2 I was streaming music using Airplay and the tried to exit using the 's' menu. Music continued to play but the program was in a hung state. When I disconnected the stream using my streaming device XBMC finally quit. Seems like the exit event doesn't interrupt whatever is handling the stream. It is consistent and repeatable. Just FYI.
