Works flawless on my Win 7 x64 machine on xbmc frodo HOWEVER once full screen mode is activated it will play each song for like a second then skip to the next... Endlessly. Which sucks because full screen mode is GORGEOUS!
Here is a quick video of what I'm talking about in action. Someone on github said it's fixed, but obviously either I'm doing something wrong or its still bugged.

Awesome add on though dude!

Thanks for the video. As you may already know, I posted a workaround on the Github issue tracker:

Some basic tests were made on an android device. The addon starts, it seems to work nicely for a short period of time, but then it suddenly crashes. It will possibly work on the future, but it's not ready for Android yet.

Please note that the official releases are not compatible with Android, as they require some (minimal) patching.

Thanks a lot for your continued interest, but there's no progress on this yet, sorry.
mazkolain,

on the android subject - you said that the official releases are not compatible with android. does this mean that you know of some unofficial releases that are compatible with android?
Mazko! Thanks for posting that man ill try it as soon as I get home. You da man! Any way to donate to ya to continue? Love this addon
do you need premium for this to work?

The fact is that no prepackaged versions are available at this moment due to the sudden crash issues mentioned. Anyway you can try patching some addon files as explained on my answer to @joeyf on the following post:

I'll set up a donation option as soon as the addon gets to 1.0-final. Thanks for your support!

Yes, required by libspotify.
Just wanted to let you know your workaround worked like a charm! No more skipping
Hi there,

Ive been trying to get this Spotimc working for 4 straight hours now and I just cant figure out what is going wrong.
I am not very familiar with xbmc/openelec since I just started using it a week ago. But even my best friend google couldnt help me with my problem.

I am running the latest Openelec on a Raspberry Pi and installed the latest beta of Spotimc. Everything worked like a charm. Installing, setting it up, logging in.
I can also see my playlists browse the music but no matter what file I try to play it never starts playing. It either shows that the next track couldnt be found on the lower right corner of the screen or a windows pops up saying that it couldnt play the content and asks me to read the log file.
I did so. But I am not getting anywhere with it.

Maybe someone can recognize what is wrong. I will post it at the end. Another thing I have noticed is that the music add-on High Voltage Sid Collection is marked as not working. Could this have something to do with it?

I would be thankful for every help you can give me.

Tanks a lot.

Hey sorry,

too much information I take it?

I didnt know what was really important. I thought maybe the error occurs before spotimc even loads due to a dependency problem or something similar.

Sorry if I am a total newbie. :/
