looks like I will have to get up to speed with Git and pulls and pushes etc.
I just ended up have one installed from source and a seperate for git.
Could this thread please be split into 2 different threads?
One with HTPC Manager and one with PyTunes.

Perhaps the best way is to start 2 new threads and close this one. The HTPC Manager is really a nice thing, but the thread start is messy and by someone else, this doesn't invite to read through the thread. The fact that the last few pages seem to be hijacked makes it even worse...

I mentioned this multiple times before. Giving PyTunes its own topic would make it much easier to read.
I have just noticed what's been going on here with MadClicker, since he's not contributing back to HTPC-Manager and instead pursuing a fork I'm in agreement that he's been hijacking the thread, so I've split out as best I can anything relating to PyTunes.

The split thread on PyTunes is at http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=188848

To MadClicker, you are free to comment here on HTPC-Manager but please leave any promotion of PyTunes to the newly created PyTunes thread.
Hellowlol has submitted a pull-request for a system stats page. If you have psutil on the same system HTPC-Manager is running, you can now see detailed information about your system from within HTPC-Manager.

Update to the latest version and enable in Settings -> Computer stats.

Thank you!
Thanks, updated it and it works great!
Something i heard a lot over time, was the option to add links to your own (local) webservices or special sites. To read the full discussion about this, see Github issue#83.

I have been working on a 'custom url' feature, that lets you add any link to the menu bar.

Image

It is not merged in the master because i need some feedback. Please download the custom-url branche from Github and report any bugs concerning the custom urls in the Github issue.

styxit.

I got around the problem by creating a menu on top of the page. really helps when i need to go the main app or other resources. I tried to place google search on it as well, but google has disable results posted to iframe ., Would recommend creating something similar or a sub menu if at all possible. the menu could get quite long.

@styxit

Is psutils the only requirement for the new system status tab ?
It was working for me awhile on Arch Linux but after some system cleaning it stopped working ("Psutil is was not found on your system" <-- my English is bad but I believe this incorrect).
I've got no idea what package broke this feature (removed Calibre which got too many depends).
It's the only external that's needed. Rest is included in the python install

Great work!
@styxit

The custom-url feature works great.
It would be nice is the services will be ordered alphabetically.
Looking for testers for of a tv remote to samsung tvs (smart tv).

https://github.com/Hellowlol/HTPC-Manager/tree/tv

The remote needs to be activated in the dashboard menu in addition to the settings.

What do you think?

*Power on does not work, since nic is off when the tv is turned off.
Just wanted to say thanks for all your work on this.

This morning I have moved to the custom branch and all working perfectly.

Are you planning on implementing nzbdrone & headphones support for this at all going forward - would be nice to have these included. (Apologies if this has already been discussed).
