How can I get XBMCBuntu to always boot up in the XBMC session regardless of which session I logged out from?

doesn't anyone have any idea? What I want is if i shut down the system from XBMCBuntu I want it to start in XBMC when I power up the system again.

It doesn't work that way, which is a pain IMHO. It always reloads based on the last session. You need to log out and log back in with an XBMC session.

Short answer is, it's by design. As DecK says, you need to log out/log back in as the XBMC user.
