I recently posted this thread, where it was offered that upgrading Ubuntu to 12.04 beta might alleviate some of the issues many of us were having with frequent system freezes. I did the upgrade, and it seems to have worked. But now I have a really odd problem.
When I first boot my system, no remotes will work - not my Boxee remote or XBMC remote for Android. If my screen dims, pressing a button on the Boxee remote WILL bring full brightness up, but I can't navigate or select anything.
What I can do is browse my collection through the Android app and select a video that way. After I begin a video, both remotes are suddenly fully functional. I don't even know where to start with this. Nothing out or the ordinary in my log, as far as I can tell. Any thoughts? Thanks.
