Full Version: XBMCbuntu - SMB Fails mid-playback

While playing movie from my SMB share, XBMC loses connection to the file server about 5-10 minutes into the video. After returning to the menu SMB has apparently quit working all together, when trying to play videos in my library it can't find them and I am unable to navigate the shared folders. Rebooting resolves the issue.

Thank you for your help.
Link to another log, trying a movie from another host: http://pastebin.com/QUFhrR8e
Oddly enough, after playing a video from host A and letting it crash, I cannot view the SMB shared directories from host A, however I can browse and playback videos from host B. After the video playing host B crashes, I cannot view it's directories or play it's media. I can however now browse and play media on host A. One host is Win7, the other is openmediavault, ubuntu-based distro.
Why don't you try nfs to the mediavault and see if your problem goes away? I have had too many problems with CIFS and now avoid it like the plague.
