I have 2x hp mce infrared receivers, I had one working with xbmclive then openelec so I ordered a new one on ebay for my new custom built xbmcbuntu to be machine. Unfortunately I cannot get it to work for love or money, all the guide seem dated as the files and directories no longer exist, so im back to stable openelec for now.
My question is are there any USB IRs that work out of the box with xbmcbuntu? There was a similar thread before but I can't get any of the few devices mentioned there.
