Hi first time xbmc user

I watch loads of video podcasts in itunes and would like to be able to watch them through xbmc I have searched the wiki and read that the filesharing method mentioned in the wiki only works for audio and searching google projuced no results.

So is it possible to do this?

In iTunes, right click one of the files and select "Show in Finder". That will show you the physical location the files are at, and you should be able to then share a folder that contains those files via File Sharing in System Preferences. This would only work with podcasts already downloaded in iTunes, though.

You might also be able to play many of the podcasts directly in XBMC without having to go through iTunes by using something like this add-on: Add-on:AudioPodcatcher (wiki)
