i don't use xbmc as a dashboard first of all. everything in the log looks ok, but it boots to just a black screen. what's wrong?
i just ran into this problem, and the solution for me was to use an xecuter bios on my xecuter 2.6ce chip. using evox m8 1.6 and the yoshihiro modified one both worked for running msdash and evox, but not xbmc. i'm not sure if this applies to you, but...just in case :-p
