I have a collection of Kung Fu flicks that I use Excel to organize. I have XMBC now but I'm looking for a feature where I can sort them by subtitled, dubbed, or plain English.

Also is there a feature where if I search for a movie, it will come up even if it is an alternate title of the same movie? A lot of these old movies have multiple titles. Hopefully this would scrape from iMDB but I'm not opposed to manually inputting everything myself.

Is there anyway I can custom tag movies then filter by said tag?

A lot more work but something I'm willing to do.

You could use folders, then smart playlists that sort by "path". You can also edit genre tags using Add-on:XWMM (wiki), then use smart playlists with that (or just genre browsing in the library).
