i've downloaded a free .ttf with support for hangul (korean characters). i can get xbmc to properly display korean but i must be doing it the hard way.
- when i add a new .ttf font to the ./media/fonts directory it doesn't get picked up by xbmc (even after rebooting); i.e. the "settings -> appearance -> look and feel -> skin fonts" parameter only lists "default" and "arial".
i worked around this was by deleting the arial.ttf and renaming the korean.ttf to arial.ttf
my question is, why aren't .ttf fonts which are dropped into the fonts folder added to the list?
