option "smoothed playback" doesn´t work in cvs. to avoid jerky playback , i have to set autosync=30 in mplayer.conf. if i´am right
this what "smoothed playback" should do.

same for me ...works better if i edit the mplayer.conf.

i´m not sure what happens if i have disabled in gui and enabled in file..

what will it use then?

hmm.. had no real way to test it.. but technically it should work .
however it might get overridden by a setting autosync 0 in mplayer.conf.. make sure it's really commented out.
