Full Version: File naming pattern when copying FLAC tracks with File Manager

Hi there,

Complete noob here.

I'm using the File Manager to copy audio tracks from my UPnP music server to another HDD for backup purposes.
Most tracks are FLAC encoded. Copying files takes a while, but it works.

The File Manager default behavior is to name copied files after the 'track name' FLAC tag of the original file.
Once copied, audio files don't have the .flac extension therefore no media player would recognize them as audio.

Is there a way to control the naming pattern used by the File Manager when copying files (a bit like with 'File Operations' in Foobar2000)?

Thanks & Cheers,
Rouq
