since the skin has been broken for quite some time,
i decided to clean it up a bit.

- fixed the issue with logo-dowloader (i've replaced it with artwork dowloader)
- updated the tv guide code needed to work with the current next-aired addon

get it here and use the 'install from zip' option in xbmc:
skin.simplicity-2.0.3.zip

other than that, i have no plans to work on/support this skin.
since igotdvds has been missing is action for a while
it's up to you (the xbmc community) to push it to the next level.
Thanks Ronie will try this later - the previous version needed little maintenance, just the ability to work in eden

Thanks again

Could you point where it needs more "maintenance" ? I'm beginning to be familiar with igotdvds coding (by updating Shade skin), so I might be able to do a quick maintenance.

Thanks ronie for v2.0.2!
the one thing i noticed is there are a lot of hardcoded strings in the skin.
that's certainly a showstopper for submitting the skin to the addon repo again.

Really? Surely this could be covered by a disclaimer?
Same rule applies to add-ons.

hmm..maybe i spoke too soon Smile

it is a requirement for scripts (see wiki), but i'm not 100% sure it applies to skins as well.
though i can't think of a reason why it shouldn't.

regardless, having hardcoded strings in a skin is bad.
ok, thanks!

Just tried a little bit the skin and specifically the "Upcoming TV Schedule"... when using the TV Guide from Home script that calls "script-NextAired-TVGuide.xml", the focus goes on the Shows that are airing at sunday (I don't have other day with shows). I can navigate through this list but as soon as I leave sunday, the focus goes to the bottom button (Settings, Home and Refresh), but I can't go back and browse Sunday shows. I'm stuck at the bottom.

Tried to see how to resolve it, but to no success.

My bad, I somehow thought you meant a skin's localized labels.

lol, other companies exhibited interest as well. I wouldnt be surprised to see something pop up elsewhere.
I'm not surprised - this skin is without doubt (IMO) the best available.
