Any updates? Updated list still shows in alphabetic order, and doing the change you mentioned a couple pages back didn't work

Unfortunately is not working for me. Not working even for PC.

The proxy is working fine on PC Firefox, but not on the KODI plugin, it shows the content, but does not play.

Constant problems with buffering, blurred video image and randomly pausing video. When will you add proper preloading and prebuffering? Add-on is useless without actual preload, advanced settings do not help at all.

Hey. So I tried the new Krypton release and the plugin keeps crashing. I'm on OSX.

Are you working on making it work for the new alpha or waiting for the final release?

Just how does it crash? And what version are you using and from what source?
The most likely three things however (assuming you run addon v.2.2.1)

1) It crashes on login - remove the file crunchyPickle from the userdata/addon_data/<plugin_name>/ directory

2) It crashes when you list the queue but works otherwise - most likely the issue fixed in git (see first post in this thread to find the git)

3) Crashes in other circumstance/other way - a logfile and description of which version you use, how you installed it, and what you tried to do when it crashed (specific step) would be neat.

I have a longstanding issue on multiple platforms and versions where the total video time displayed is always shorter than the actual episode. An episode that is really 23:42 shows as 23:10, and episode that's 24:05 shows as 23:06. Once the running time hits the total time the total time starts counting up with the running time and it plays to the end but it makes seeking near the end of the episode really weird. Is there any way to fix this?

The total time issue is an intersting one.. we actually get that time from two different places

1) Server reports "duration" - this one is correct (and is reported at TotalTime by the plugin to kodi)
2) Kodi actually reads the metadeta in the final playlist file - this is the shorter time that kodi insists on displaying

The issue seems to be that kodi inists on using 2 regardless of what duration, totaltime or runtime is set to (when playing a playlist)

The entire Kodi app crashes to the desktop when I click the Crunchyroll addon to open it. I am using the Krypton alpha 2 release from the kodi.tv download page and I downloaded the addon from the default repository through the Kodi interface. I am running the latest version of MacOS.

I tried removing the pickle but it didn't work. Here's a log file from a fresh install of Kodi and the addon:

Seems like i crashes before the python interpreter even starts doing its thing.

A quick search for similar problems suggest either renaming or removing (I'd suggest renaming, since that will allow you to put it back if needed):
%APPDATA%\Kodi\cache
( on Mac that is /Users/<your_user_name>/Library/Application Support/Kodi/cache/ )

Nope. That log file was from a clean install. I deleted the entire Kodi folder in Application support before I reinstalled it.

Here's a couple of snippets of the Apple crash logs that pop up afterwards. I've gotten a couple of slightly different ones so far:

Hmm.. Those logs (btw, thanks for great logs) indicate there is a memory access error (aka - uninitialized pointer/not enough memory allocated).

Do video add-ons work otherwise? (If they do - it would be interesting to see a log of a functioning run, and the name of the plugin that works so I know what to canabilize for hints)

Reason for asking is that it seems that CPythonInvoker is successfully called earlier for a non-interactive script, but isn't called when calling crunchyroll-takeout.

I'm not sure what happened. I started this up, but I just got the click sound and nothing. If I go to popular or simulcast, they are blank. What is happening, it was working fine a couple of days ago? I also uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it still does the same thing.

So this problem seems to have solved itself. The only thing that changed was that I was no longer using the HDMI out to view my Mac. I don't know if this helps but I'll provide as much information as I can:

Initial setup: Mac laptop plugged in with the lid closed and viewed though an HDMI cable on my TV.

I used this setup to install the program and every time I tried to run it I got the above crash.

Fix?: I unplugged the HDMI and ran Kodi on my laptop screen and everything seems to run fine.

I'm using my Mac through the HDMI again and it's working fine now so the only thing that I can think of is that the initial launch of KODI has problems with using external monitors.
