Hi guys.
At the moment I'm running my HTPC on Windows 7 because I simply can't manage one thing to get going on Ubuntu.
On Windows I have one session with XBMC in fullscreen running and displaying on my TV and when I need to work with the file structure on the NAS, jdownloader, etc I setup a 2nd connection on the same machine via RDP that I control with my tablet.
The beauty of it is, that XBMC on the TV is not interfered with that.
I'd really like to switch to XBMCbuntu or XBMC on Ubuntu but I just coundn't set up a second X-Session via VNC (or anything else) while having XBMC running in foreground.
Can anyone lead me to a thread / a how to / anything that can take me a step further.
