I've had good luck playing with XBMCbuntu 11.0 on other systems, so I decided to try it on my main box:
A pretty basic core2duo with an Nvdia 520 using HDMI output
This config works fine under windows, but when trying either the Live version or while installing the video output is in almost a permanent tear once the GUI is displayed:
I've tried different resolutions and the CCSM type 'tearing' fixings (which seem more related to video playback) to no avail.
Any ideas what's going on here and/or what to call it so I can try to fix it?
