Total newb here (Linux/xbmcbuntu that is) and I am trying to add a different background while using the Xperience More skin, but when I go to navigate to a (higher) directory I can't get out of special:// directory, and I can't find the "special://" directory while sftp'd in via Filezilla. Can someone explain? btw I searched for 20 mins here on the forum & google and couldn't find any clues. TIA
This would be the appropriate directory:
Code:
/home/USERNAME/.xbmc/addons/skin.xperience-more
USERNAME is the username you created for your OS. (i.e. xbmc)
Hey Denzo ! do you find this Rute? i need find it
another kodi newbi here
on the same theme "how do you change special://skin/backgrounds/default_bg.jpg"
I am using Aon Knox Silvo skin.
I am sick of seeing that guy in space.
like explained above. The only difference from this ancient thread is, that it's not ".xmbc" anymore.
So please search for the folder in:
~/.kodi/addons/skin.<inser-the-skin.name-here>
All skins are in their seperate subfolder matching to: skin.<skin-name>.
For estuary the folder is named: skin.estuary
Hope that will help
Thanks that solved my problem "He's not flying around in space any more "
again BIG THANKS
