I've just updated (been on holidays) I'm wondering how to show DVD cases in the Showcase view for TV Shows.. It doesn't look it is available but what are the chances it will come back ? and was there any reason why this switch was taken out ?

because they don´t make any sense for tvshows.
Well to some maybe, but for myself it looks the same as the movies and I quite like it.. I take it you won't be adding the switch that gives people choice ? if this is so, what code do I need to add to make this work ? (if you don't mind me adding it)..

correct. no option for that. code for that is in viewtype_showcasemovies.xml and variables.xml probably.
Thank you Phil, saves me looking through all the xml's.. added the button back in also and all works well..
