I saw that too and thought it was awesome; that is if it works. Though What I'd like to know is if your hand has to be over the sensor or if it could work from say... 6-8 feet back. It would be awesome to sit on my beanbag and wave my hand through the air to scroll through my stuff

This is indeed awesome but I do not think it will fit the bill for remote controlling. I believe your hand has to be over the sensor for it to work. I have heard it is extremelly accurate tho, 100's of times more than the kinect....
