Hello all
i've faced a stranged problem and searched everywhere but couldn't find a logical solution,
the problem is, i have a samsung galaxy s2, that i can't find my xbmc when listing devices inside allShare app, the same thing happen when i open VLC and click on "Universial Plug'nPlay" , this wasn't happening before i deleted my ubuntu+xbmc eden setup and replaced it with xbmcbuntu, so for sure the problem was with xbmcbuntu itself, i tried hard and looked into all the logs and i couldn't find anything of a value.
but, the solution that worked was by chance to be honest,
i saw a weired daemon running, minissdpd
all i did was
sudo apt-get remove minissdpd
then restarted my machine, everything working as charm now, xmbc got identified by other upnp devices/apps.
i am just posting this so it maybe can help someone in need.
