hi, i was wondering if you guys could implement bitrate info for videos like how you have it for music.
:d
if mplayer don't have the function maybe a dev could get the code to grab this (and much more information) from mediainfo (link)
Quote:main available information :
general : title, author, director, album, track number, date, duration...

video : codec, aspect, fps, bitrate...
audio : codec, sample rate, channels, language, bitrate...
text : language of subtitle

chapters : count of chapters, list of chapters
examples of supported formats :

video : mkv, ogm, avi, mpeg1, mpeg2, mpeg4, dvd
audio : ogg, mp3, wav, ra, ac3, dts, aac, m4a, au, aiff
would be nice to have in both mplayer and the new dvd-player core mode Confusedaint:
i have just 1 question. has this feature suggestion been taken in consideration? just curious.

hmm yes, a gspot beta for xbmc

although the gspot beta does have a number of bugs and isnt being developed anymore by the look of things. one in particular thats a problem is that it does not read the pixel aspect ratio correctly. hence the display aspect ratio is always a suprise.
