To the masters of XBMC,
about my setup…
• Win 7-64
• My DVD collection is backed up onto a 3TB HD.
• Each movie is in its own folder with the folders having the same name as the movie inside it.
• Each folder also contains all the needed fanart/thumbs/movie info
This all works and plays just fine in xbmc.
When I start XBMC, I want my full movie collection to show – and it does. When any of my children start XBMC, I also want the full movie collection to show – and it does. No porn so I’m not worried about anything like that.
But there is something I very much need to be able to do in xbmc but I can’t find a way to do it. That’s where I hope some of you experts can help me… Is it possible to create an xml file to put inside only some of my movie folders (the ones to strong for young children) so that when I or anyone else clicks on that movie they are prompted for a password/passcode? If it is possible how should the xml file look?
I think many, many other people want the same thing.
Thank you,
TechDaddy
