I am using a gateway all in one touchscreen pc. When I have xbmc on my screen does not turn off. If I exit xbmc then it will turn off on the specific time that I set in the options. Is there a way for xbmc to be able to allow this? I dont want it to go to sleep since this pc is my plex server and if I want to access it the pc has to be on.

Any ideas?

I only see 3 options

sleep timer
shutdown function timer
shutdown function

Screensaver dim to 100% black? Assuming the light was bothering you.
Does this also happen when XBMC is minimized?

Yes this happens when minimized also.
